“You’re Lying”- Britt Baker Says Bella Twins Laid Down Bricks For Saraya And Sasha Banks In Women’s Revolution

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker has opined that The Bella Twins inspired almost every current female wrestler in the business. She stated that any wrestler who says Nikki and Brie did not inspire them was lying.

Britt Baker spoke with Ring The BelleĀ recently, where she discussed how The Bella Twins played a big role in revolutionizing women’s wrestling. The AEW Superstar said that Nikki and Brie laid the bricks for the likes of Saraya and Sasha Banks to come in and set the women’s revolution in pro wrestling.

Baker further mentioned that she had always been a fan of the Bella Twins. In fact, she also went to a Comic-con and paid to meet them. Here’s what Baker had to say:

“I think any female wrestler right now, if you can say that Bella Twins didn’t inspire you in some way, you’re lying. They are just superstars in the ring, like they demand your attention. They were part of the start of women’s wrestling revolution like they laid down the bricks for girls like Saraya and Sasha [Mercedes] like for those girls to walk on.”

The Bella Twins have retired from professional wrestling now. They were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

Britt Baker will aim to make a strong comeback in 2024

Baker was one of the most talked-about female stars of AEW in 2021 and 2022, but 2023 was a year, where her career declined a bit. She lost a majority of the matches that wrestled. Plus, she has not had any televised matches since September 16, where she lost against Kris Statlander on AEW Collision.

The year has changed now, and Baker will hope that her booking also improves. She is a world-class talent, and AEW creative team should use her talent in the best manner possible.
