The 25th game of the IPL 2023 is taking place between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi international stadium. The hosts won the toss and asked the five-time champions to bat first.
Mumbai Indians openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan and came out all guns blazing and smashed the opposition all over the park. Talking about skipper Rohit, the right-hander looked in decent touch and played some rollicking starts.
He set the stage on fire and yet again gave his side a resounding start. Rohit Sharma scored 28 runs in just 18 balls with the help of 6 fours but was dismissed yet again after a good start. The skipper was dismissed in the 5th over as a slower by T Natarajan deceived him.
Rohit didn’t pick the cutter and was early to close his bat-face as he looked to work the length ball into the leg-side and in the process got the leading edge up that was caught at the mid-off.
