The excitement for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is building up. The league is likely to take place in the April-May this year. The auction has been completed and the teams have got their final squads.
Much to the fans delight, Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has returned to action. The wicketkeeper batter was seen sweating out at the nets and getting himself into the groove ahead of the league.
It’s quite evident that he is gearing up for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The picture of him batting in the nets got viral on the internet with many fans expressing their happiness to see him bat again.
Dhoni was last seen in the action during the IPL 2022. It was a horrendous campaign for the team as they finished 9th on the points table. The season also saw the keeper batter passing on the baton of the team to Ravindra Jadeja but then later again took the charge as the all-rounder relinquished the role after 8 games.
The keeper batter also recently confirmed that he will play for the franchise in the next season. The team also hinted that their star batter will return next year as well and they will play in front of the home crowd.
