India is all set to tour Ireland for the three-match T20I series ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. The first game will be played on the 18th of August followed by the second and third games to be played on the 20th and 23rd August. All three games of the series will be played at The Village, Malahide.

Coming to the playing 11, Yashasvi Jaiswal along with Ruturaj Gaikwad is expected to open the innings for the team. The duo has been exceptional in the IPL and it is likely that they will get the preference in the absence of seniors.
Suryakumar Yadav is expected to bat at No.3 whereas Tilak Varma is expected to bat at No.4 for the team in the three-match series. The man of 5 sixes Rinku Singh is also likely to make the cut into the team and play a crucial role for the team at No.5.
Jitesh Sharma will be the wicketkeeper in the team as since the last two IPL seasons he has set the stage on fire and deserves a longer rope in the team. Axar Patel along with Washington Sundar are likely to be the two-all rounders in the team along with Ravi Bishnoi who will serve as a third spinner.
Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik are likely to be pacers in the team. The trio has been doing well in the domestic circuit and would be crucial for the team
