India could host a special game in August

As reported by the Press Trust of India, GOI has sent in a proposal to the BCCI requesting it to arrange a game between Team India and a Rest of the World XI this August. Although the specifics are not yet revealed, the game is most likely to be a T20 encounter as per a few articles.

It has been a while since India has faced a Rest of the World XI. India is one of the hotspots of the game at the moment. In terms of strength and depth, too, India is amongst the best on the planet.
