Looking at the immense popularity of this gimmick, the company introduced a pay-per-view titled WWE TLC. The peculiarity of this PPV event is that it features TLC matches between the top WWE Superstars.
In WWE TLC matches, the Superstars have permission to use all weapons, majorly tables, ladders, and chairs. The company has produced many great TLC shows over the last few years. In 2020, there will be two TLC matches. Roman Reigns will put his Universal title on the line versus Jey Uso, while Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE title against AJ Styles. 5. The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler, 2010
This TLC match happened on a regular RAW episode. The Miz held the WWE Championship in 2010. The A-List Superstar put his championship on the line against Jerry Lawler in a TLC. It is noteworthy that Lawler had denied any crazy spots because of his age. Still, the two Superstars delivered.

4. John Cena vs Edge, 2006

The Ultimate Opportunist lost his championship to John Cena just a few days after capturing it. However, he regained the belt by beating Cena and Rob in a triple threat bout. Later, John had a rivalry with Edge for the gold. This feud culminated with a great TLC match. Cena put Edge through multiple tables and unhooked the belt.
3. Kane vs. Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio, WWE TLC 2010
WWE initially planned a singles TLC match between Edge and Kane for WWE TLC 2010. For the same show, there was a Chairs match planned between Alberto Del Rio and Rey Mysterio. The Creative team nixed their plans. Instead, they had the four stars compete in a TLC match. It was a remarkable change.
Every Superstar played his role to perfection. Although Edge won the battle, Alberto Del Rio earned everyone’s attention backstage. His performance at WWE TLC led to his massive push in 2011. 2. Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles – WWE TLC 2016
AJ Styles had an entertaining rivalry with Dean Ambrose in 2016. He won the WWE title with a low blow at Backlash. He retained the gold against John Cena and Ambrose at No Mercy. Then, he competed at Survivor Series. In December 2016, Styles fought Ambrose in a TLC match.
Ambrose is a hardcore wrestler. He loves to take risks. On the other side, AJ Styles is one of the best in the business. James Ellsworth’s heel turn told a perfect story to the fans. Lastly, Styles won the match and ended the feud with Ambrose for good.

It won’t be an understatement to say The Hardyz, The Dudleyz, and Edge and Christian are the reason why we will see WWE TLC again in 2020. There were some unbelievable spots during that bout.
