4 WWE Superstars who might remain undrafted in WWE Draft 2024

WWE landscape is about to undergo a huge makeshift with the annual WWE Draft set to begin on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown and conclude on next week’s Monday Night RAW. All superstars from RAW, SmackDown, and even prospects from their WWE developmental territory, NXT would be eligible for the Draft.

However, the few editions of the WWE Draft have seen multiple WWE Superstars left out of being assigned a brand and remain undrafted for an extended period with signs looming for this year’s edition as well. Here are 4 WWE Superstars that can go undrafted in the WWE Draft 2024:

1. The Rock

The Rock was seen as a prime fixture for WWE television programming on the march to WrestleMania XL. As witnessed, The Great One was majorly featured on SmackDown alongside The Bloodline while making one single RAW appearance for the go-home edition. With The Rock on hiatus following the conclusion of The Show of Shows and his status as a part-time attraction and TKO Board member, The Final Boss could remain undrafted and maintain free agency status to appear on both brands.

2. Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley was perceived as one of the cornerstones of WWE RAW and it seemed to remain that way until her unfortunate shoulder injury was caused at the hands of Liv Morgan. That led to Mami vacating her WWE Women’s World Title and leaving the company to undergo a recovery process, leaving a possibility to go undrafted in the WWE Draft.

3. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December 2023 after suffering a devastating knee injury on SmackDown. With Flair making exceptional progress yet still some time away from full-time recovery, she could be left out of the WWE Draft coming up. Moreover, this would open the opportunity for a bidding war between RAW and SmackDown when Flair returns in an attempt to sign her to their respective brands.

4. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has taken an extended break from WWE following the culmination of his historic Undisputed WWE Universal Title run at the hands of Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL Sunday. With no timeline in sight for The Tribal Chief’s return, WWE could make the decision to let him go undrafted. This would give them ample time to consider a fresh direction for his resurgence and later on, decide on his WWE brand status.
