WWE Survivor Series 2022 Predictions: Will Randy Orton return on the PPV?

The second longest running pay-per-view in WWE, Survivor Series is only one week. This will be the first edition based on the theme of the War Games match. This comes as a major change to the show’s format brought by Triple H’s creative regime. Fans are wondering if Randy Orton will return for the show.

The match card seems to be stacked with top-tier talent featured in various matches. However, one notable WWE performer who has a great Survivor Series track record missing for a while is Randy Orton.

Randy Orton has been regarded as one of the top and most prolific superstars in the WWE. The Viper has performing for the company since his debut in 2002. His amazing athleticism, charisma and long-tenure with the WWE has made him one of the most respected legends in the business.

However, Orton has been missing from action due to injury since the May 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. His last appearance saw him and his tag team partner Matt Riddle lose to The Usos in a Tag Team title unification match. Before Orton went down with his injury, his partnership with Riddle was one of the hottest acts going on Monday Night RAW. Furthermore, The Viper called it one of the best runs of his career.

Randy Orton is reportedly dealing with a back injury. The severity of the injury is currently unknown. Moreover, the company had hoped that he would be back before the end of 2022. Orton was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Kim Orton.

She posted a photo of Orton in a hospital bed and gown celebrating their anniversary. WWE sends its performers to Birmingham for rehabilitation. So it can be assumed that Orton and his wife maybe there for the same with the process maybe time consuming.
