Rajasthan Royals have been poor in recruitment. A few unsold players could have actually helped their cause. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three unsold cricketers who would have been a perfect fit at the Rajasthan Royals.
1) Jason Behrendorff
If RR had wanted to use two foreign bowlers, they could have gone for a powerplay expert instead of an all-phase bowler. Someone like Jason would have added a lot of value with the ball. If he collected at least one wicket in every match, RR could have penetrated better.
2) Michael Bracewell is one of the cricketers who would be useful at the Rajasthan Royals
The Kiwi was a big miss by RR, especially when they ended with only six foreigners. Bracewell would have been a backup for Maheesh Theekshana and Shimron Hetmyer. In fact, he would have started ahead of Theekshana mainly because of his big-hitting skills.
3) Tanush Kotian
The team really needed an Indian spinner apart from Kumar Kartikeya. Especially for Theekshana’s role, an Indian spinner would have been ideal. Tanush played for RR before and it is surprising that they did not pick him at his base price.
