When it came to Royal Rumble, the shortest eliminations make quite the headline. The shortest duration in the ring belongs to Santino Marella who lasted 1.5 seconds after Kane eliminated him in the 2009 Royal Rumble.
Marella being the infectious superstar that he is always, came roaring to the ring but eventually as soon as he entered the ring, the Big Red Machine, Kane hit him with a massive clothesline and that took Marella out of the ring.
However, what truly happened? Well in a video released by WWE, Marella revealed the entire scenario that led to the storyline and that was well settled in the historic pages of humour and till date remains the quickest elimination of all time.
In the video released by WWE, Marella was seen saying that they were fighting over a piece of chicken. Both of the stars were fighting over the piece of chicken with their respective forks. Eventually it was Marella who won the fight about the chicken and had it. When Kane took a look at Marella, he said that you need to be ready always.
