England Test Squad has done well in recent years. Ever since Brendon McCullum has arrived, the team has been attacking in the Test format. At times, the New Zealand coach has used the services of some T20 specialists, as well. Of course, that did not work in a few cases. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two English T20 specialists you might not know who played 1 Test match.
1) Liam Livingstone
Liam Livingstone is a white-ball specialist for England. However, not long ago, the management saw a Test career out of him.
His attacking skills would have been a good asset to have in McCullum’s philosophy. However, Liam’s performances did not work and he ended up playing just 1 Test for the country.
2) Jamie Overton is one of the current English T20 specialists
Jamie Overton is one of the English T20 specialists you might not know who played 1 Test match. He has had a good run in County and hence, he got a chance at the Test level.
However, it is in the T20 format that Jamie is doing well. He is one of the fine bowling all-rounders in the format now. He is all set to make his IPL debut in 2025.
