Punjab Kings have the best reaction after Ronaldo joins Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo has grabbed the headlines after moving from Juventus to Manchester United. The Portuguese star was an alumnus of Manchester United, and now he has returned to his former club. Many fans were surprised after seeing the news of Ronaldo moving to the English football club. Punjab Kings also reacted to this decision

Ronaldo has been trending on social media, and the Mohali-based IPL franchise have made an interesting tweet after this news. They have almost similar jersey color as Manchester United. Hence, after Ronaldo joined Manchester United, the Punjab Kings wrote:

“Everybody looks good in RED.” Punjab also posted a photo of Ronaldo in the jersey of Manchester United.

This tweet by Punjab has gone viral on Twitter, receiving more than 8,300 likes inside two hours. Over 150 fans have left a comment as well, while 642 Twitter users have retweeted the latest tweet shared by the Mohali-based franchise. While many fans agree with the Punjab Kings, some have even questioned that the jersey color of Punjab Kings was altered a bit recently only.

Punjab Kings will aim to perform better in the second phase of IPL 2021

Punjab could not perform as per the expectations in the first phase of IPL 2021. The Mohali-based franchise holds the sixth position in the standings, with three wins and five defeats from eight matches. The KL Rahul-led outfit will be keen to improve their record and qualify for the playoffs this year.

Last year, when the United Arab Emirates hosted the IPL season, the Punjab Kings narrowly missed out on a place in the playoffs. KL Rahul will aim to continue his fine form, while the new players of the team, Adil Rashid and Nathan Ellis, will look forward to making their presence felt as well. Punjab will resume their campaign against the Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on September 21.
