In less than a week’s time, Asia Cup 2022 will be upon us and it would feature some heavyweight battles, starting with the likes of India Pakistan, which is slated to be played on the second day of the tournament.
The mercury is already rising for the continental extravaganza and so are the expectations about a string of cracking contests where each team would be hoping to put up a show, as the crown of the continent will be up for grabs.

Team India are the current champions of Asia as they trounced Bangladesh in the 2018 final and will be desperate to replicate their success. Pakistan will be coming to this year’s tournament with a fine squad that has been revamped and will hopeful of an iconic tournament after major success in the T20I World Cup where they bowed out to Australia in the semis.
Bangladesh too, will be hoping to pull off one of those majestic wonders where they find themselves rubbing shoulders with the two cricketing giants at the moment while Sri Lanka will be hoping a couple of individual showdowns to keep them afloat, especially with the likes of Hasaranga and Dasun Shanaka being in a rich vein of form.
With all said and done, Star Sports announced its list of commentators for the upcoming tournament for both Hindi and English and it feels like a starry list of story tellers to lead the charts with the words flying high.
