SRH did have a decent outing at the auctions. However, it appears that the management could have done better at the event. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three unsold cricketers who would have been a perfect fit at SRH.
1) Josh Little
SRH does not have a good second overseas pacer. This is affecting them a lot in the tournament. Josh has decent experience in the IPL and offers value with the new ball and also in the middle. He is someone with decent variations, as well.
2) Michael Bracewell is one of the cricketers who would be useful at SRH
The Kiwi would have made sense for the side. In the end overs, he could have landed a few big blows with the bat, and as a bowler, he is a bank. It is surprising that no other team wanted to sign the experienced all-rounder from New Zealand.
3) Shivam Mavi
SRH did not invest in any specialists for the powerplay. Hence, when the team is not picking wickets in this phase, the squad does not have a good replacement option. In this regard, someone like Shivam would have added value to the side with the new ball.
