Fans on Twitter erupted in joy after Indian Cricket Team attains the No.1 rank in the ICC rankings of all three formats. They were delighted with the team becoming only the second team and first Asian team to be number 1 at the same time in ICC ranking. They also lauded skipper Rohit Sharma for his terrific work.

In what has been the latest development, Indian Cricket Team has attained the No.1 rank in all three formats of the game. With this, they became the only second team and first Asian team to be number 1 at the same time in the ICC ranking.

India for their staggering performances of late was No.1 ranked in T20Is with 267 ratings. They didn’t lose a single series since the T20 World Cup in the shortest format of the game, defeating New Zealand twice and Sri Lanka once.

On the other hand, in ODIs, they are the powerhouse as they since the last one year have been thumping teams both at home as well as overseas. They were ranked No.1 in this format for quite a while and have a rating of 114.

They attained the No.1 rank in Tests after their thumping win over Australia in the first game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. They defeated the Pat Cummins-led side by massive innings and 132 runs and displaced them to become the new No.1. They now sit at the top of the table with a rating of 115.
