Jasprit Bumrah was up to the task early on. When the South African cricketer was on 59, he induced an edge of the batsman. The ball went straight to Pujara’s hands and for a slip-fielder of his standards, the opportunity was too easy to miss. However, Pujara dropped it. The entire team was in shock and Virat Kohli, who was next to Pujara, did not reveal his emotions then. Bumrah, who had sprinted a few metres towards the slip in a celebratory run, also had to stop midway.
