The powerplay is one of the most crucial parts of a limited-overs game. In the 50-over format of the game, the mandatory powerplay rules are applicable for the first ten overs. During that period, only two fielders can be placed outside the 30-yard circle. In the T20 form, the field limit is for six overs only.
Generally, the powerplay gives license to the batters to take risks. They only need to hit the ball over the 30-yard circle fielders to earn a boundary. 4. Ishan Kishan – 63, Most runs by a batter in powerplay of IPL 2021 league matches

Former Deccan Chargers captain Adam Gilchrist holds the record for the most runs by an overseas batter in IPL powerplay. Playing against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2009 Final, Gilchrist aggregated 85 runs off 35 deliveries, and 74 of them came in the first six overs.

Chennai Super Kings star Suresh Raina played an unbelievable knock of 87 runs against Punjab Kings in IPL 2014 Qualifier 2. He scored 87 runs off just 25 balls before getting run out. To date, it is the highest IPL score by one batter in the first six overs.
