Ronda Rousey Done With WWE, Removed From Official Website Of Company

Ronda Rousey has officially left WWE. There was a lot of speculation over her future in the biggest pro wrestling company on earth. However, WWE has now removed her from the list of Superstars on its official website. Hence, it is safe to conclude that Rousey is done with the company.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet competed in her last WWE match at SummerSlam earlier this year. She locked horns with her real-life best friend Shayna Baszler in a first-ever MMA Rules match. The bout was not well received, and some fans were even spotted taking a bathroom break when the match started.

Nevertheless, Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey tried their best to entertain the fans. Eventually, Baszler defeated Rousey and then bragged to be badder than the baddest woman in the company.

Initially, fans believed that Rousey would retire from the wrestling world. However, the Baddest Woman on the Planet stunned everyone by appearing at an indy show recently, where she teamed up with Marina Shafir to take on Brian Kendrick and Taya Valkyrie in a tag team match. It was at Lucha VaVoom’s Area 51 event in Los Angeles.

Will Ronda Rousey join AEW after leaving WWE?

Rousey’s appearance at an indy event has sparked speculation if she will appear in AEW next. Fans would have noticed a tweet featuring Rousey with a tag of AEW’s official account. It was posted by Taya Valkyrie on X, who wrote:

“Different paths, but the same destination. If you missed last nights @LuchaVaVOOM
, you missed out…big time. Let’s do this again soon @RondaRousey @MarinaShafir

@AEW.”

If Ronda Rousey indeed joins AEW, it will be a massive acquisition for the Tony Khan-led company. It will be interesting to see if AEW offer a contract to Ronda or she continues to be a free agent in the indies.
