2 changes RCB might make after their loss to Punjab Kings

It was a poor outing for RCB against the Punjab Kings. The teams will meet again on Sunday. RCB is likely to make a few changes in the playing XI for this encounter. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two changes RCB might make after their loss to Punjab Kings.

1) Jacob Bethell could replace Liam Livingstone for RCB against Punjab Kings

Time might have run out for Liam in IPL 2025. It was a good chance for him to make a statement against PBKS. However, he mistimed a big hit and went for a single-digit score.

Jacob could be another left-hander in the middle order. He can bowl left-arm spin, and this further aids the balance of the side. Therefore, he has a chance to make his RCB debut.

2) Devdutt Padikkal for Manoj Bhandage

DDP was not given a game against PBKS. Eventually, RCB had to substitute Manoj, but he too had a tough outing. RCB might now go for their original combination.

DDP gives a breather before someone like Rajat gets to spend time in the middle overs. This is crucial for the side. Now that Harpreet Brar is likely to play again, RCB needs a left-handed batter to deal with him.
