After an emotional farewell, Messi is expected to complete his move to the Ligue 1 giants in the upcoming days.
The Argentine was spotted at the airport earlier today and is expected to arrive in Paris and undergo his medical after the wages and the contract was discussed between the agent and the club. Reputed journalists have already confirmed the signing of Lionel to PSG, but an official announcement is expected to take place either tonight or tomorrow. Reports emerging from Paris have also said that the club has booked the Eiffel Tower to announce the signing of the superstar.

Before the club could officially announce it, former teammate and Messi’s close friend, Neymar has already confirmed his signing by posting a story of both of them during the Barça days, with a caption that pretty much confirmed Messi’s arrival. The 34-year-old has agreed to represent PSG till 2023 with an option to extend till June 2024.
The Brazilian also offered his prestigious number 10 to an ex-teammate as a token of gift as Lionel reunites with Neymar, but it is reported that Messi will take a number other than 10 at PSG. With the likes of Ramos, Hakimi, Wijnaldum, and now Messi, it will be interesting to see if PSG are finally able to win a Champions League in the upcoming season.
