Paarl Royals, which is the sister franchise of Rajasthan Royals in the CSA T20 league, have also announced their pre-auction signings for the inaugural edition of the tournament which will kick off in January next year. They have signed only 4 players pre-auction out of which one is a surprising name.
Jos Buttler was one of the players the Royals were always going to sign as he is a marquee player for their brand and plays for them in the IPL as well. The second overseas player that the Royals went for was Obed McCoy. The West Indies left-arm seamer has shown significant development as a T20 bowler in recent times and had also put on a couple of match-winning performances for Rajasthan Royals in the last IPL.
Obed McCoy till now would only be the player to feature in all three Royals team @rajasthanroyals @BarbadosRoyals and @paarlroyals #CricketTwitterAdvertisement

David Miller and Corbin Bosch are the two local players signed by Rajasthan Royals
The third pre-auction signing of the Royals is David Miller, who although playing for Gujarat Titans in the IPL now, has been a part of the Rajasthan Royals set-up for three years before the last year’s IPL mega auction and he is someone whom the Royals management is very familiar with.
Miller is probably playing some of the best T20 cricket of his career at the moment. So, picking him as the capped South African player is probably the right call from the Royals, although they could have gone for Rassie van der Dussen as well, who is currently contracted to Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
The fourth pre-auction signing, which has been a bit of a surprise for the Royals fans, is the signing of Corbin Bosch, an uncapped 27-year-old South African player who is a seam-bowling allrounder. Bosch is not much known in the global cricketing circuit yet, but he has been with the Rajasthan Royals in the past without getting a game in the IPL.
