Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj is breathing fire in the ongoing third ODI against Sri Lanka. The right-arm pacer has made a mockery of the visitors’ batting lineup and has made them look clueless.
Siraj drew the first blood for his side when he removed Avishka Fernando for just 1 run and then there was no stopping him as he bowled impeccable lines and lengths. He then sends Kusal Mendis packing for 4 runs to trouble Sri Lankan batters.
He continued breathing heat and then removed Nuwanidu Fernando for 19 runs before removing Wanindu Hasranga with a peach for 1 run. If this was not enough, he then ran out of Chamika Karunaratne as well to leave Sri Lanka tottering at 39/6. Siraj took 4 wickets inside 5 overs and returned with the figures of 5-0-17-4 in power play. He then bowled staggering well after the power play and returned with the figures of 4/32.
