CSK spinners dominate MI batters
Mumbai Indians had a brilliant start with the bat. Both Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan took on the CSK bowlers and were looking in good touch. However, some fine scalps but CSK ensured that MI never got settled in the game. For Mumbai, the batting unit yet again failed as the likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green could not fire. It was Tilak Varma again who tried to set the tone for MI but even that failed because the CSK bowlers were in brilliant form.
For CSK, it is good news that Jadeja is back in form. There were doubts about his bowling in recent games. However, he ensured that MI did not find it easy against him as he took some important wickets. Kiwi all-rounder Mitchell Santner also supported him well by getting a few wickets, as well. Overall, in the absence of Moeen Ali in the spin department, CSK dominated MI batters at the Wankhede Stadium.

Cameron Green was looking in decent touch and CSK had to remove him at the earliest. The CSK spinners had already been in rhythm and it was a terrific catch by Jaddu that ended the stay for Cameron Green. Many commented that it was the best catch of IPL 2023, till now.
