WWE Superstar Kevin Owens recently shared his views on working with controversial star CM Punk. The Second City Saint made his unexpected return to WWE at the Survivor Series premium live event last Saturday in Chicago. He also appeared on this week’s RAW episode, where he expressed his happiness to be back home.
Kevin Owens is one of the best mic workers in WWE. Many fans have been asking for a rivalry between Owens and Punk in WWE so that they can enjoy the war of words between the two former ROH stars.
Speaking with James H. Williams, Kevin shared his views on the returns of CM Punk and Randy Orton at Survivor Series. Here’s what the former WWE Universal Champion had to say:
“I just wanna have fun at work. So if he’s [CM Punk] has got that mindset, great.”
Kevin further mentioned that Randy Orton was a locker room leader. He highlighted how the Apex Predator did not seek authority but commanded respect from the rest of the locker room members in WWE.
Will Kevin Owens vs CM Punk match happen in WWE?
As mentioned, a feud between Punk and Owens can be quite entertaining. Both Superstars know how to up their game when it matters the most. If they get a chance to tell a story, they can pull off one of the greatest rivalries in WWE history.
However, there is one small problem with the future of Owens vs Punk rivalry. Owens is a member of the SmackDown roster right now, whereas Punk will likely be a part of the RAW roster. Hence, the two Superstars may not be able to cross paths until they switch brands.
