CM Punk’s return to WWE has been the hottest topic of discussion in pro wrestling circles. The Voice of the Voiceless made a shocking return to WWE at Survivor Series in Chicago last Saturday. Punk’s close friend Mickie James spoke about the recent development in WWE.

Punk made his shocking return to pro wrestling on the first episode of AEW Rampage in 2021. He quickly became a world champion in Tony Khan’s promotion, but because of behavioral problems, Khan had to fire him from the company this year.

A few months after being fired from AEW, CM Punk shook hands with Triple H and returned to WWE. Sharing her views on the mega return, former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James said on Busted Open Radio:


“I think he comes off with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder to a lot of people, but it’s also he demands the best of himself. He doesn’t play that game of telling people what they want to hear.”

CM Punk and Mickie James have been good friends in real life. They were even rumored to date once upon a time. However, Mickie James denied all the rumors.
