“He’s Gonna Be Able To Talk About ‘Taker’s Streak”- Bully Ray Picks Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania XL Opponent

Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent has always been a topic of discussion as the year comes to a close. WrestleMania takes place in April. It is the biggest premium live event across all sports entertainment, and in 2024, fans will witness the 40th edition of the Showcase of Immortals.

Lesnar has been one of the top performers in WrestleMania history. The Beast Incarnate owns the record of ending The Undertaker’s streak at the Grandest Stage of ‘Em All. Now, former WWE Tag Team Champion Bully Ray wants Lesnar to fight to end another streak at WrestleMania.

Speaking on a recent episode of theĀ Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray gave his opinion on who should be Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania opponent and said:

“I think we’re getting GUNTHER and Brock at WrestleMania. Because when Brock looks at GUNTHER, he’s gonna be able to talk about ‘Taker’s streak, and ending a streak. Brock is going to be able to remind GUNTHER that, ‘I’m the one who put the one in 21 and one, so at WrestleMania, I’m defeating you,'” said Ray.

It is pertinent to note that Lesnar did not have a great WrestleMania feud this year. He ended up facing Omos on the Show of Shows. It was a short rivalry, where Lesnar came out on top.

Why Gunther should be Brock Lesnar’s next WrestleMania opponent

As suggested by Bully Ray, the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther could be the opponent of Lesnar at next year’s WrestleMania. Gunther has defeated almost every name present in the mid-card of WWE.

The Ring General himself has stated that he is ready for main-event level feuds now. Lesnar has never won a mid-card title in his WWE career. It will be exciting to see who wins the clash between The Ring General and The Beast Incarnate if they collide at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.
