The ongoing third match between India and Australia is taking place at Chennai. The series has turned don bad to worse for Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav as he bagged his third consecutive golden duck.
Suryakumar Yadav looked clueless in the first two games as he failed to get going and bagged golden ducks in both games. He struggled against the in-swinger of Mitchell Starc and looked clueless in Mumbai and Vizag.
It was expected that Suryakumar would come back stronger in the final game and would guide his team home. After India lost KL Rahul and Virat Kohli, the onus was on the batter alongside Hardik Pandya to guide his team home.
But this didn’t happen as Suryakumar Yadav bagged his third consecutive golden duck. But this time he was out to a spinner Ashton Agar. The spinner bowled a flat and quick on a length that skidded off the deck.
Suryakumar tried to stay on the leg side of the ball and looked to play it off the back foot. But he got beaten all ends up. The ball beats the inside edge and went on to crash on the stumps. He became the first Indian to score 3 consecutive ducks in an ODI series.
