With everything said and done, this has also been brewing a few unfulfilled love-stories on the sidelines despite the rivalry with the WWE.

Also, the ones to have graced the ring, they come with a very special charisma that is absolutely irresistible and that also intrigues the fans from both the promotions. #1 Matt Sydal had a crush on Trish Stratus

Before Sydal departed to AEW, he was vehemently working for WWE as Evan Bourne. The 39-year-old superstar became a part of the company in 2007, a year after Trish Stratus left WWE. Despite the duo not meeting in the WWE ring, yet as per reports, the two did meet at AEW for professional reasons of course. In one of his tweets, he called Trish a Sweetie while also admitting that he had a crush on the WWE Hall of Famer.

#2 Eddie Kingston was infatuated with Bull Nakano

It has been almost 20 years that Eddie Kingston performed on independent circuits before finally making the cut for AEW in 2020. While being in contract with Tony, he has also wrestled under the banner of NJPW in 2021. Well in one of his interviews, he mentioned that he had a crush on one of the iconic Japanese divas to have graced WWE and she was none other than the towering Bull Nakano.

#3 Max Caster had a crush on Amy Webster

Max started his wrestling career in 2015 and contested in the independent circuit for five staggering years before finally being roped in by AEW in 2020 for the upcoming five years. Before joining AEW he confessed his crush for Amy Webster in a tweet. In fact, he wanted validation from other superstars where he wanted to know whether others had a crush on Amy or was it only him.

#4 Ruby Soho was attracted to Stone Cold and Scott Hall

Ruby Soho had spent a wholesome five years in the WWE Circuit before finally calling it a day in 2021 due to their budget cuts. Three months later, she arrived in Tony Khan’s promotion, rocking the shores with her punk gimmick. Well in an interview, she mentioned that growing she had crushes on two of WWE’s icons, Stone Cold Steve Austin and the industry’s most notorious heel, Razor Ramon or Scott Hall.

#5 Kiera Hogan had a crush on Jeff Hardy

Growing up, Kiera Hogan was a massive wrestling fan, and she did watch WWE and Impact Wrestling, ideally the two wrestling promotions back in the day that did grab limelight. When asked about her favourite wrestler from those days, she blurted out the name of one of the most elegant superstars, Jeff Hardy who had been the heartthrob of countless women.

#6 Brian Pillman Jr was infatuated with Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose has always been stirring heads in the WWE circuit and her reign as the NXT Women’s champion has been iconic. When it comes to crushes, Brian Pillman Jr, clearly mentioned that he was head over heels for Rose at one point in time and this confession came three months ahead of Mandy Rose declaring his relationship with Tino Sabatteli.
