The clash between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir has been the talking point for the last few days. Recently, even Ravi Shastri spoke about it. Here, we take a look as Ravi Shastri gives an opinion to BCCI to solve the recent fight between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.
The fight between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir is the talk of the town
It all started in the LSG vs RCB clash in Bengaluru. After winning the game, LSG players were aggressive in their celebrations. Also, Gautam Gambhir made the gesture of a finger on his lips at the crowd. All of this did not go down well with Virat Kohli.
Hence, while on the field against LSG at Lucknow, Virat too started his celebrations. After the game, there were a few words exchanged, too. All of it appeared to be ugly on the screen.
Ravi Shastri gives his opinion on the same on how it can be solved
Now, Ravi Shastri came up with the opinion that BCCI must involve in the matter right now. Speaking to ESPN Cricinfo, he said, “I think here someone from the governing council or the BCCI should take the initiative where all parties involved are called up front. And whatever has been said or whatever the history, get in there and nip it in the bud and with a stern warning.” The former India Coach said that all parties must be a part of this discussion, be it Virat, Gautam and Naveen.
Ravi further added, “Right in front of the person from the management or from the BCCI or the governing council and have a direct conversation. ‘Yes, we understand in the heat of the moment things do happen. But there’s a line. And I’m afraid you guys crossed the line. So whatever, you guys have to say sort it now because it won’t be tolerated in the future.”
