Ishan Kishan scores a century in Ranji Trophy against Kerala
Just after his heroics in the ODI series against Bangladesh, Ishan Kishan continued his red-hot form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2022. The southpaw smashes a double ton in the third ODI and days after that he made an impression in the domestic circuit as well.
After Kerela posted a total of 475 runs on the board in the first innings, Jharkhand struggled to get going and was reeling at 114/4. But Ishan Kishan stepped up for his side and crafted a wonderful innings to bail his team out of trouble and help them get a good score on the board.
Ishan played a staggering inning of 132 runs and then helped his side go past 300 runs, which at one moment seemed difficult. He batted aggressively and turned the momentum in his side’s favour with his fiery knock.
Ishan scored 9 fours and 8 sixes in his knock of 132 runs. He also stitched a crucial partnership with Sourabh Tiwary, who scored 97 runs. The southpaw batted 195 balls and soaked in all the pressure.
