Assam batter Riyan Parag set the stage on the fire in the ongoing Ranji Trophy game against Hyderabad. After a dismal outing in the first innings, where he scored just 10 runs, the all-rounder activated his beast mode and smashed bowlers all over the park.

After Assam lost two early wickets,Parag came out with a positive mindset and made sure that he tilt the momentum towards his side and powdered his side’s score from 29/2 in 9.3 overs to 130/3 in 19.2 overs.

Parag scored 78 runs from 28 balls with a strike rate of 278.57. He also smashed 8 fours & 6 sixes in his innings. He continued his fine form from the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he scored 552 runs in 9 innings at an average of around 75 and a strike rate nearing 123 to go with three hundred and one fifty as well. Not only this he too has taken 10 wickets with the ball as well.
