1) Release Shimron Hetmyer
It is a no-brainer for RR. In the first place, why he was retained over Jos Buttler is still shocking. Nevertheless, with Shimron now in poor form, RR will release him. They will look to sign someone like Cameron Green at the next auctions.
2) Releasing Dhruv Jurel is one of the bold decisions Rajasthan Royals
It is a bold call because Dhruv is young, and he is a wicket-keeper. However, if RR wants to free up the purse, they might take this call. They could try to get him back at a lower fee, as well. Dhruv’s performances have been poor in IPL 2025.
