“You’re Not Perfect”- Pat McAfee Sends A Message To Vince McMahon After His Retirement

Pat McAfee posted a heartfelt tweet for Vince McMahon after the former WWE Chairman announced his retirement. McMahon was the heart and soul of WWE for decades. Because of him, the professional wrestling industry stands where it does right now.

However, because of the recent allegations against Vince McMahon, his public image has been impacted negatively. Vince first stepped down as the CEO of WWE and then retired today. Announcing his retirement on Twitter, Vince wrote:

“At 77, time for me to retire. Thank you, WWE Universe.  Then. Now. Forever. Together.”

Current and former WWE Superstars have paid tribute to Vince McMahon after his big announcement on Twitter. Current SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee also posted a message for him. Here’s what McAfee wrote:

“Thank you 4 the decades of dedication to entertainment Thank you 4 the miles you traveled Thank you 4 the sacrifices Thank you 4 the priceless business advice Thank you 4 the opportunity to be a WWE SUPERSTAR @VinceMcMahon You’re not perfect..but you’re forever a legend.”

Pat McAfee was the last WrestleMania opponent of Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon wrestled his last match at WrestleMania 38 earlier this year in Dallas. He was scheduled to be ringside for the singles match between Theory and Pat McAfee, but after Theory lost the match, Vince stepped inside the ring and battled Pat. He defeated Pat, in what has proven to be his last WWE win.

Soon after, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin came out and executed a stunner on all three Superstars. It was the last move taken by Vince in a WWE ring. Some fans have assumed that Vince might have an idea that he would have to retire in 2022, which is why he booked himself to wrestle at this year’s WrestleMania and also have a segment with his greatest rival Stone Cold Steve Austin.
