Australia Playing 11 for the first ODI against South Africa Prediction

Australia will play five-match ODI series against South Africa.

Australia will be playing South Africa in the 5-ODI series and India in the 5-ODI series in the build-up to the ICC World Cup 2023. Apart from that they will be playing three-match T20I series as well. Both the series will be extremely crucial for the team with the World Cup as well as T20 World Cup around the corner. 

Australia Playing 11 for the first ODI against South Africa Prediction 

Australia will be playing five-match ODI series against South Africa second. The series will begin from 7th September to 17th September and it’ll be a great opportunity for the Pat Cummins-led side to get their combination right for the World Cup. 

Coming to the playing 11, there’s no doubt that David Warner will open the innings and along with him Travis Head will be there at the top. The southpaw has performed exceptionally well after Aaron Finch retired. It is expected that they will be opening the batting in World Cup as well. 


Mitchell Marsh has been Australia’s best batter in white-ball cricket for the last few years and it is expected that he will be batting at No.3 with Steve Smith likely to take the No.4 spot. The duo would be extremely crucial to the team’s chances in the series. 

Glenn Maxwell along with Marcus Stoinis and Alex Carey are expected to play the finisher’s role for the team. The duo of Maxwell and Stoinis are also likely to play a crucial role with the ball as well. Whereas Sean Abbot will also be featuring in the team because of his capability with bat and ball.
