Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on Sunday (4th December) posted India’s scorecard from Lahore Test against Pakistan in 2006 on his Twitter account and asked his fans to point out interesting things in it.

It was the first game of the Test series between India and Pakistan in Lahore that saw batting of high display from both teams. Batting first, the hosts on account of terrific centuries by Younis Khan (199), Mohammad Yousuf (173), Shahid Afridi (103) and Kamran Akmal (102*) posted a gigantic total of 679 runs on the board.

In response, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid made Pakistani bowlers clueless and batted for a long time. While Sehwag was at his aggressive best, Dravid batted defensively and made bowlers work hard.

The duo made sure that they don’t give away their wickets. They stitched 410 runs partnership for the first wicket and frustrated Pakistan bowlers. While Sehwag scored 254 runs, Dravid was unbeaten on 128 runs as the match ended in a draw with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni not getting the chance to bat.
