After the clash in the 2021 T20 World Cup, India and Pakistan will take on each other again in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. It will be a keenly awaited game like it has always been. The upcoming event will also have a chance of seeing India and Pakistan clash more than once. Players from both teams will be raring to put on a solid show. On that note, here, we predict three players who might win the Man of the Match award in the Asia Cup 2022 India vs Pakistan match.
1) Suryakumar Yadav
The Mumbai cricketer has been in stunning form in the last few months, especially in T20 cricket. At the moment, SKY is the No.2 ranked batter in the format. Hence, it is not a surprise that he is on the list.
Although he has played higher up in the batting order recently, it is likely that SKY will play at No.4 or No.5 in the Asia Cup. This is due to the return of the likes of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. Nevertheless, the player is known for his impact knocks and can return with a match-winning performance.
2) Babar Azam
There are rivalries. There are intense rivalries. Then there is #INDvPAK! 🤩
Both the sides are full of stroke-makers! Which one do you think will pip the other in the greatest rivalry?

Babar Azam is one of the players who might win the Man of the Match award in the Asia Cup 2022 India vs Pakistan match. While SKY is the second-best T20I batter right now, it is Babar Azam who sits at the top of the list.
The last time around, Babar troubled India with his sensible unbeaten knock. The Indians must ensure that Babar does not enjoy a similar run in the Asia Cup or else, that could mean a loss for them. These days, Babar inevitably scores big runs and the expectations will be similar against India, too.
3) Bhuvneshwar Kumar
In the four games that Bhuvi has played so far against Pakistan, he has collected five wickets. In Asia Cup 2022, he will be leading India’s bowling attack in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
The Uttar Pradesh pacer will be up against Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam at the start of the innings. Removing any one of them will also be a terrific contribution. Considering his recent form, Bhuvi is capable of that and hence, he is a part of this list.
