The highly talented duo of Asuka and Kairi Sane, collectively known as The Kabuki Warriors has been a remarkable team in today’s WWE era. The duo have teamed up in the past and reunited again as part of Damage CTRL last year upon Sane’s return to WWE.
Furthermore, Asuka and Kairi dethroned Kayden Carter and Katana Chance in January 2024 to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles for a record second time as a team.
Looking at the current scenario of the women’s division, here are three possible teams that can defeat them for the titles:
1. Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair
One of the most dominant and reckoning forces that has emerged in recent memory in WWE is the team of Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill. The duo already have their issues with the entire Damage CTRL and even put them down in a 6-woman tag team match at WrestleMania XL.
With Cargill & Belair set to challenge them for the tag team titles at WWE Backlash France this week, it seems we can see the rise of the most dominant Women’s tag team champions in the EST & Storm of WWE.
2. Bayley & Naomi
Bayley has a long heated history with the current members of Damage CTRL including Asuka and Kairi Sane who she held responsible for corrupting IYO Sky and Dakota Kai against her. Moreover, she has been seen with Naomi these past few weeks, despite both battling for her WWE Women’s Title who has also aided her in her fight with her former stable.
Therefore, they can be a formidable duo to dethrone Asuka and Kairi Sane for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships.
3. Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
Another dominant force that has previously tasted tag team gold as a unit is Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. Although not operating as a team right now, another run with the Women’s tag team titles could motivate them to reunite and defeat Asuka and Kairi Sane for the gold.
Therefore, this would elevate the tag team division even further with the two most dangerous women at the forefront of it.
