The Vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 Auction Date is August 5 and 6. After an exciting season eight, the 12 PKL franchises will return to the auction room to form new squads for the ninth edition of the mega event. Dabang Delhi KC are the defending champions heading into the new season.
This year’s PKL Auction is expected to be one of the biggest ones ever because both Pardeep Narwal and Pawan Sehrawat will go under the hammer at the auction. While UP Yoddhas were likely to release Pardeep because of his massive price tag, Bengaluru Bulls have shocked the fans by letting go of Pawan Sehrawat.
Even former champions U Mumba have released their captain Fazel Atrachali and vice-captain Abhishek Singh. Dabang Delhi KC are yet to reveal if they have retained their star raider Naveen Kumar.
After failing to win the title even once, both Haryana Steelers and Telugu Titans have decided to hit the reboot button this year. None of the two teams have retained any of their players in the elite category. They will likely have the maximum funds in this year’s Pro Kabaddi Auction.
