Kandy Falcons will be under pressure to perform well
Kandy is an important place when it comes to Sri Lankan cricket. However, the fans of the franchise have not been treated to good cricket in the last two editions. Known as “Kandy Warriors” earlier, the team finished last in both the editions of LPL so far. The team will be desperate to do well in the upcoming campaign.
Carlos Brathwaite was one of the marquee signings made by Kandy in the recent draft. They have also acquired the services of Hasaranga, which will be a massive boost to their chances. The team has come out well with some in-form cricketers such as Chamika Karunaratne and Matheesha Pathirana. Fabian Allen, Dewald Brevis, Chris Green, Andre Fletcher, and Usman Shinwari are the other foreigners in the unit. All of them need to step up to have improved performance.
