As Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso flaunt their WWE Tag Team titles, there has been a new trend of unlikely WWE Superstars coming together for new tag teams. Well, call it a tag team if you want or simply the desire to run the roost of team games in WWE, a major focus that has been running wild since the start of time for the company where two or more wrestlers have come together with a similar objective.
With just two and half months to go for 2023 to end, here’s a look at five possible tag team partners who can come together for an alliance. This may have unexpected names too but just as WWE functions, shocking us with surprises are a part of the act.
#1 One of the potential new tag teams – Bron Breakker and Solo Sikoa
The NXT superstar has been making quite a few ripples in the developmental brand and it is expected that he may make his debut withing this calendar year itself for the main roster.
SOLO SIKOA IS HERE.

Considering the fact that Roman Reigns is now trying to build the Bloodline once again and given the fact that he has already the Undisputed Championship with him, WWE may introduce Bron to the storyline and pair him with Solo Sikoa to clinch the WWE tag team titles.
#2 One of the potential new tag teams – Finn Balor and JD McDonagh
They are already a part of the Judgment Day for sure but then again JD and Finn haven’t exactly been a partnership that tag teams usually see. Considering the brewing friendship and the kind of friction going strong in the Judgment Day, Finn may simply break away from the stable and join hands with JD to unleash terror.
#3 Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
Another tag team that the WWE will love to see, however, they have been on their separate paths. Now let’s say that if the Bloodline falls, Roman Reigns will come hunting and with the kind of damage that he has done to the locker room, he will have a lot of resistance. With all said and done, he will need help and who better than the Visionary and also the WWE Universe erupting in joy.
#4 CM Punk and Kevin Owens
Surprising right? However, considering the rumours going on backstage, WWE may make a move for Punk. And if that happens, either he goes solo for a prolonged storyline or he takes on someone alongside him to lay off that anti-hero stance in fine fashion.
A rumored idea for a CM Punk return to WWE was that Punk wanted-to/would return at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble & proceed to MAIN EVENT Night One of WrestleMania with the person who’d eliminate him in the Rumble.

With all said and done, Kevin Owens and Punk can make one hell of a partnership that will leave the opposition in utter awe.
#5 Gunther and Damian Priest
Two wrestlers on two different paths of life, om different thoughts and most importantly with entirely different styles would actually make a good tag team. It’s just that both needs to have a bad break up with Imperium and Judgment Day and then an alpha tag team can reign the WWE tag team division.
