Following the roaring success of WWE Backlash France a few weeks ago, WWE is heading towards Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for its next PLE, WWE King and Queen of the Ring in less than three weeks. The grand spectacle is expected to be headlined by the first ever match between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Maverick slid right into the match without any No.1 contender ship challenge citing his immense popularity and fame.
However, there were some other names on the SmackDown roster that deserved more than Logan Paul. Here is a look at those two WWE superstars who should have received the title match at WWE King and Queen of the Ring:
1. Solo Sikoa
Ever since Cody dethroned Roman Reigns for the World Championship at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa stepped up and took over the reins of The Bloodline in his absence. Moreover, he has been a highly dominant and dangerous in-ring competitor in his own right, highly instrumental in protecting Roman Reigns’ title reign and now his status as the Bloodline leader has garnered more attention.
Furthermore, WWE Universe is well aware of the tensions between The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes. Therefore, Solo Sikoa was much deserving of a title opportunity at the upcoming PLE in Saudi Arabia to bring it back to his family.
2. LA Knight
The year 2023 saw the meteoric rise of the one and only LA Knight. WWE’s resident Megastar has developed a special connection with the fan base who get captivated by the sight of LA Knight saying ‘YEAH.’ Moreover, he has proven his worth at every step of the way, despite WWE booking him to miss major opportunities.
With a bright future ahead and a remarkable fan base, LA Knight was much more deserving than Logan Paul for facing Cody Rhodes for the World Title in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
