There will be loud ‘You Suck’ chants heard a lot in the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as the WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is set to return at the upcoming episode of WWE RAW emanating from Angle’s hometown.

Kurt Angle was last seen on WWE programming back in May 2020 on an episode of Smackdown announcing the arrival of Riddle to WWE Smackdown. He even mentioned that WWE offered him a new deal right after to be Riddle’s manager, but he declined in order to focus more on developing his health and nutrition business.

Fans have been buzzing ever since WWE made the announcement of Angle returning to WWE RAW, but reports suggest that it could just be a one-off appearance. Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Dr. Chris Featherstone reported that Kurt Angle’s upcoming appearance on Monday Night RAW is only a special one-time appearance due to WWE RAW taking place in his hometown of Pittsburgh and possibly having Angle as a crowd puller for the show.

Other speculations suggest that Triple H’s new creative regime would have more than just an appearance or crowd address segment for the Wrestling veteran Kurt Angle.

What could Kurt Angle do on this week’s WWE RAW episode?

Angle could be inserted into the Seth Rollins-Riddle rivalry, possibly siding with Riddle and taking up the role originally pitched to him during the end of his last run, or announced as the Special Guest referee for their upcoming match at WWE Clash at the Castle, adding more star power to the UK Spectacle.

Another possibility could see Angle put over a star like Kevin Owens who could take out Angle in his hometown, gaining massive heat and momentum in the process, making his appearance count to build a future prospect Superstar for the WWE even if his presence turns out to be one-off as reported by many sources.
