Rollins has had a feud with Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio in the past. Balor became the inaugural WWE Universal Champion after defeating Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. Meanwhile, Rollins was the first major feud of Dominik on WWE RAW, and even they had a match at SummerSlam in 2020.
With SummerSlam 2023 approaching, WWE fans now want to witness an intergender match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Seth Rollins and Rhea Ripley. Will Seth Rollins vs Rhea Ripley match happen in WWE?
Although WWE has allowed Rhea Ripley to put her hands on male superstars and even defeat Akira Tozawa in a match, it seems unlikely that the company would allow Rollins to put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against her. In the past, WWE wanted to make Chyna the World Heavyweight Champion, but she rejected the chance.
Many WWE fans have drawn comparisons between Rhea Ripley and Chyna recently, but in the modern era of social media and massive sponsorship deals, WWE may not want to take any risks by producing matches where male Superstars beat the women stars.
