Liv Morgan stunned the world when she won the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and later cashed in her contract to become the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. Morgan was a massive fan favorite, but the company never booked her to become a champion until last week.
As expected, she has received a positive response from the WWE Universe after becoming the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. Fans are keen to see how Liv performs as the face of the Blue brand’s women’s division. This past week, she made an appearance on RAW, where she teamed up with the RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair to defeat the duo of Carmella and Natalya.
According to reports, WWE may book Morgan to defend her championship against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2022. The match is not official yet, but it makes sense to have a rematch at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

WWE has their own talk show named The Bump, which airs on social media every week. This week, the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion was a special guest on the show and she made an interesting statement.
When asked what difference she brings to the table compared to former champions like Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan replied: “Well, people want me to be their champion.”
The entire studio burst out in laughter Morgan’s comment. The brief clip from the show has gone viral on Twitter with fans laughing at the way Morgan gave a fantastic reply to the people who compare her.
This Friday, Morgan will make her first appearance on SmackDown as the Blue brand’s women’s champion. It should not be a surprise if Ronda Rousey comes out to confront her and demands a match at SummerSlam.
