WWE is rapidly approaching its premier destination of the year, WrestleMania, with the 40th edition of the monumental show set to go down in less than two weeks in Philadelphia. WWE WrestleMania XL Predictions have started as well.
Amongst the star-studded line-up set for two nights of exciting action, one of the most talked about matches is surely the main event for Night 1, pitting Cody Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins against The Rock and Roman Reigns.
The top-caliber match has huge stakes involved that see either Cody Rhodes get a fair shot against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title on Night 2 or find himself in a Bloodline Rules match with the odds stacked firmly against him.

However, all the verbal insults, Final Boss antics, and alignment of The Bloodline could turn out to be a huge ploy that The Rock played on Roman Reigns to make sure his kingdom came crashing down. The match end could see The Great One betray his own blood to pave the way for the rise of Cody Rhodes and set up his own clash with the Tribal Chief for another major WWE show.
2. WWE WrestleMania XL Predictions – Drew McIntyre makes his presence felt to be a decisive factor in the match
The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre has been laser-focused on claiming the big glory moment that has alluded him for nearly four years at WrestleMania. As he is set to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight title on Night 2, McIntyre could put the spotlight on himself on Night 1 after feeling neglected by Rollins and the fans on the road to WrestleMania.
As witnessed on this week’s edition of RAW, Drew was spotted in a private conversation with Bloodline’s Wiseman Paul Heyman backstage which could turn out to be a huge plan of him siding with The Rock and Roman Reigns to cost Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes their opportunity to take down The Bloodline once and for all.
3. It’s Bloodline Rules for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 Night 2
The explosive tag team match could turn into, what is his popular moniker, a Nightmare for Cody Rhodes in another possible scenario.
The match end could mirror the ending of last year’s WrestleMania main event where other Bloodline members would cause multiple distractions and interferences to give The Rock and Roman Reigns the win. In the very closing moments of the match, the tables can turn on Cody Rhodes with the betrayal from foe-turned-ally Seth Rollins costing them the match and leaving The Prodigal Son to fend off against The Bloodline on his own.
5. Cody Rhodes earns a fair battlefield against Roman Reigns
Cody Rhodes worked his way up for an entire year to get another shot at Roman Reigns and the Undisputed title. The match finish at WrestleMania 40 Night 1 could see the excellent commaradery of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes decimate The Rock and Roman Reigns, flanked by their own backup Jey Uso to combat his brothers’ interference i.e Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.
This would give his allies the opening to secure the win and a fair battlefield for Cody Rhodes to collide against Roman Reigns in his second attempt to win the World Championship for his father, the late Dusty Rhodes, and claim his destiny as the next flagship star of WWE.
