WWE Women’s Royal Rumble 2023 is just around the corner. The women’s Rumble match happened for the first time back in 2018. Asuka was the winner of the inaugural women’s Rumble match. After that, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair and Ronda Rousey have won the match one time each.
The women’s Royal Rumble match is often full of special returns and surprise appearances from legends. In the previous Rumble match, the likes of Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Melina, Kelly Kelly and Lita appeared. Even Mickie James, who was the Impact Knockouts Champion, made a historic appearance in the match.
Last year, WWE announced several entrants of the women’s match in advance. However, the same is not the case for the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match. Fans should expect fewer surprises in 2023 because the company has a stacked roster, and they may not prefer ignoring the existing Superstars by giving their spots to the retired stars.

As mentioned ahead, the number of surprises in this year’s Rumble match will probably be less than what fans witnessed last year. However, that does not mean that there will not be any surprises at all. Fans should expect the Bella Twins to make an appearance in the match. Even the returns of Trish Stratus and Lita cannot be ruled out.
Speaking of the current stars who can return, Naomi could make her way back to the WWE through the Rumble match. Even Carmella and Natalya can make an appearance, while a shock appearance from Sasha Banks through The Forbidden Door cannot be ruled out as well. All in all, it should be an exciting match.
