In less than a few hours time, WWE Survivor Series will be upon us and alongside the Men’s WarGames matches, the women’s WarGames matches have sparked similar interest.
So who all are a part of the mega contest? Well, on one side, there is Bayley, Io Sky, Kairi Sane and Asuka coming together as Damage Ctrl while at the other end there will be an unlikely team of Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch and Shotzi. Guess what, this team makes no sense because everyone hates everyone and yet this team makes the most sense because of common hatred that brings together two indomitable forces face to face.
An obvious question doing the rounds now is who should be the winner of this battle? Well, who else but the heels, or to be precise Damage Ctrl. Why do we say so? Because the entire concept of bringing an unlikely team together is to try and test the compatibility and explore possible storylines. Chances are rare that they are brought together to win.
Here is why Damage Ctrl will win the Women’s Wargames match
With that being said, there is no common purpose for Bayley and team to wage on a war further. The chemistry is zero and that team is riddled with ego issues. Even if they work later together, the storyline would all be flawed. So what they are is basically the sacrificial lamb to the unstoppable rampage sparked by Damage Ctrl and also the seed of a great storyline in the making.
But that doesn’t mean that it is going to be a cakewalk for Damage Ctrl. It only means that a hellacious war will be ensuing between the two and there will be no one stopping it. Bodies will fly and so will toys. Blood may not be shed but it has been a while since WWE has found such crazy storylines and this definitely is going to be one of those arcs.
When it comes to winning at WarGames though, Damage Ctrl definitely has the upper hand and there is no one stopping them. No one can.
