The WWE SummerSlam show will take place this Saturday evening at Ford Field in Detroit. WWE has advertised four main events for the show, with one of them being the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. Since the match was announced, fans have been wondering who will win the Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor match.
The rivalry between Rollins and Balor goes back to 2016. At SummerSlam 2016, Balor defeated Rollins in the first-ever match for the WWE Universal Championship. Unfortunately, Balor got injured when Rollins executed a move against him. The injury forced Balor to relinquish the Universal Championship less than 24 hours after winning it.

Balor has never become a world champion in WWE after that. On the other hand, Seth Rollins has had multiple reigns as the world champion after 2016 SummerSlam. He is currently the World Heavyweight Champion as well. Rollins successfully defended his title against Balor, and he will put the title on the line once against him at SummerSlam.

The reigning NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio recently shared his predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2023. In Dominik’s view, his Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor will dethrone Seth Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion at the Biggest Party of this Summer.
“I think Finn is going to come out World Champion,” Dominik Mysterio said on UpNXT.
