WWE SummerSlam 2023 Predictions: 3 Released Superstars Who Could Make A Shocking Return

WWE creative team has reached new heights under Triple H that has starred from super returns to ring conquests. As one PPV after the other rages through the WWE Universe with all their might, WWE SummerSlam 2023 is next in the line, and a few Superstars may make a shocking return.

It is termed as one of the biggest PPVs in the WWE echelons and will see quite a few important matches being played out. However, from important matches in bigger PPVs, we have also seen some surprising returns and these returns get even bigger when they were formerly released by the WWE authority.

The names vary from bigger ranges to the ones who usually make the mid-cards. With all said and done, here are three names who were formerly released into the wilderness by WWE that may return to the roster of WWE SummerSlam.

#1 Goldberg

Released on March 20th, 2023, it won’t be surprising to see Bill Goldberg walking through the raging pyro again. He is a man who has been tailor-made for bigger optics and given the stature of SummerSlam, the beast can very well make a guest appearance, particularly with Brock Lesnar still in the mix and with Cody needing some support against the Beast Incarnate, it won’t be surprising if he returns again.

#2 Mandy Rose can return to WWE at SummerSlam 2023

Released in December 2022, former NXT Women champion, Mandy Rose may very well be on her way back in but then again that would need some serious talking to do from Hunter.

After losing to Roxanne Perez, Rose posted a few explicit photos online that didn’t go hand in hand with WWE’s new policy and the result is well known to others.

#3 Sasha Banks can return to WWE at SummerSlam 2023

Things went south between Sasha Banks and WWE back in last year but due to contractual differences she couldn’t leave until the start of this year. She demanded a higher paycheck and WWE was not willing to give it to her and hence she chose to part ways.

However, with Ronda Rousey leaving, WWE needs star power in the women’s division. They can offer Sasha a better deal and perhaps even a chance to retire Ronda, who many fans feel played a big role in Sasha’s demotion.
