Here Is The Reason Why Bray Wyatt Has Not Returned To WWE Yet

Many fans are surprised why Bray Wyatt has not returned to WWE despite the rumors of his return. Several backstage updates have hinted at his return ever since Triple H took over as Head of creative and started hiring back released talent from the budget cut releases.

But somehow, Wyatt’s return has always been stalled and things never seem to work out regarding him making his way back. Now, it seems the reason for this delay is his high asking amount to finalize the contract.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer has stated that talks between the two parties had indeed stalled. But WWE is really interested in seeing him back in the company. The wrestling journalist also said that even other promotions weren’t interested in him in the past because of his high asking rate.

His words: ”Regarding talk of Wyatt returning, there were definitely talks in that direction. …Talks with him outside WWE had also stalled in the past, as his asking price was well above what other companies were willing to pay.”

Bray Wyatt has not returned to WWE since his release in 2021

The former WWE Universal champion was unexpectedly released from contract last year in July during WWE’s budget cut releases. It came as a major surprise because he had competed against Randy Orton in WrestleMania 37 in a well promoted match with a supernatural angle. Fans have been asking for his return ever since.

It is said that the reason for Bray’s departure was him having differences with Vince McMahon himself in terms of the future of his character and opportunities for growth. He was one of the highest merchandise sellers of the company.

While it’s not known what Wyatt has asked as his returning amount but if he is asking for an exorbitant sum, it means The New Face of Fear wants to return to the same or higher position that he left at. Triple H has been all praises for Wyatt’s creativity, and it seems he will get him back like he has done with many others.
